An entire day could be dedicated to exploring Aleppo’s Souk, stretching for miles, built on roads that were once the Roman Cardo Maximus.

Geared towards local trade, the Souk is full of stalls, selling everything from clothing, jewelry, rugs, perfumes, to spices and meats.

It’s a bustling, colorful and loud experience with motorcycles, delivery vans, donkeys, and shoppers crowding the narrow streets.

The Souk has become quite the attraction in the last few years.  I have never seen as many tourists snapping away with their cameras, as I did this year!

If you found my post valuable, it would mean sooo much to me if you would take a moment and pop over to Instagram where I hang out and comment on one of my posts!
