💁🏼‍♀️Here’s how to get headshots right the first time.

✅ Pay a professional photographer for quality headshots that pop online or reps will not be able to get you auditions.

They can only work with what you give them.

❌ And unprocessed or RAW images that have no contrast or color correction can’t compete.

✅ Figure out the specific looks you would audition for in your age group. General headshots are great for IMDB but not for auditions.

Think of your headshots as the roles you play.

✅ Work with a photographer who directs you so that you act on camera instead of just posing like a model and trying to do it all in your head.

This is the only way your personality will come through.

✅ Work with a photographer who understands industry standards on makeup and who gives a sh*t enough to be hands on with their MUA.

Just sayin’.

✅ Always always send new agents the entirety of your photo session. Let’s admit it, you suck at picking out your own headshots.

❌ Never widdle it down to the ones you like. Because you’ll likely choose the best looking ones where an agent is looking for the best marketable ones.
