or you’re curious about dating profile pictures 😉. Well, thanks for stopping by! First things first, unless you’re from Eastern Europe, you’re going to pronounce my name incorrectly.

For a proper introduction, my name is pronounced like Vah-nee. Not Vein-nee like the veins on our legs and definitely not like vehnee. I blame my parents for the misspelling of my name. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Now that we've got the proper introductions out of the way, a few facts about my sessions:

I’ve been a Los Angeles corporate photographer for 24 years, rescuing people from boring business headshots in Los Angeles one click at a time.

I’m constantly re-investing in my business by continuing to ensure I’m up to speed on the latest trends, technology and equipment.

I carry insurance and can provide a certificate to protect both you and me in your workplace.

Not only do I have the ability to put you at ease (because we both know you don’t like to be photographed), but I have the ability to give you consistent results. I don’t stumble upon great images.

By asking you the right questions, my experience allows me to clearly define and bring to light what you’re looking for even when you aren’t sure what you’re looking for.

I’m on time, I don’t cancel and I arrive prepared for the unlikely disaster. I always bring backup cameras, lights and an assistant.

I run a business. I’m knowledgeable and trustworthy. When you hire me, you’re hiring a professional photographer for your corporate headshots LA, not just a person with a camera.

8 Tips for Choosing the Best Los Angeles Corporate Photographer

When searching for a corporate photographer in Los Angeles, it’s essential to find someone who understands the unique needs of businesses in this bustling city. To help you make an informed decision, consider these eight valuable tips for selecting the perfect photographer.

1. Research Local Photographers:

Begin your search by researching local photographers in Los Angeles who specialize in corporate headshots. Use search engines, directories, and social media platforms to find photographers who specifically mention “Los Angeles corporate photographer” in their profiles or websites.

2. Check Their Portfolio:

Evaluate the photographers’ portfolios to assess their expertise and style. Look for a diverse range of headshots that demonstrate their ability to capture professional and engaging images. Pay attention to their composition, lighting, and the overall quality of their work.

3. Read Client Reviews and Testimonials:

Browse through online reviews and testimonials to gauge the satisfaction level of past clients. Look for feedback specific to corporate headshots, and pay attention to reviews that mention the photographer’s professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to put subjects at ease during the shoot.

4. Consider Experience and Expertise:

Look for corporate photographers who have ample experience in capturing professional business headshots. A photographer with a deep understanding of the industry will know how to present professionals in the best light and convey the desired corporate image.

5. Seek Recommendations:

Ask for recommendations from colleagues, friends, or local business networks in Los Angeles. They may have worked with talented corporate portrait photographers and can provide firsthand insights into the photographer’s skill, reliability, and ability to deliver high-quality results.

6. Discuss Location and Availability:

Consider the convenience of the photographer’s location and their availability to ensure a smooth and timely photoshoot. Opting for a business headshot photographer who is easily accessible and can accommodate your preferred schedule will make the entire process more efficient.

7. Inquire about Customization Options:

Discuss your specific requirements and branding guidelines with potential photographers. Inquire about their ability to customize the headshots to match your corporate image. Look for photographers who can adapt their style, lighting techniques, and post-processing to create a consistent look that aligns with your brand.

8. Request a Consultation:

Before finalizing your decision, schedule a consultation with your top choices. Use this opportunity to discuss your vision, ask questions about their process, and get a feel for their professionalism and communication style. A face-to-face or virtual meeting can help establish rapport and ensure you’re comfortable working with the selected  photographer.

By following these eight tips, you’ll be well-equipped to choose the best photographer to create compelling company headshots that represent your brand in a professional and visually appealing manner.
