Okay so what are Mini sessions anyway?
Well, Mini sessions are typically smaller and less expensive than the sessions you offer regularly and theyâre not available for purchase except when you promote them.
They typically take place on one or two dedicated sale days, no more than two to three times a year.Â
â ď¸ WARNING: Limiting Mini sale days is VERY IMPORTANT because you donât want to teach your prospects to wait until you have a sale to purchase from you or you’ll go out of business.
Mini sessions are meant to be scarce and accomplish 3 things:
- Convert prospects who wouldnât otherwise be able to pay your regular prices.
- Introduce your work to clients on the fence about working with you (who may end up purchasing your regular package after seeing how you work.)
- Bring in a fast cash infusion into your business.
My last Mini sale day brought in a whopping $7,140.
And you too can make four figures in one day. Hereâs the key.đ
For Mini sessions to be successful, they need to offer something you donât normally offer, a value clients just canât say no to AND they need to have scarcity.
So what do my Mini sessions include?
- Smaller packages which I donât offer any other time of year, at a discounted price.
- Retouching.
- Makeup.
Can you think of anything you can offer your clients that you donât normally offer, and that they couldnât say no to? Thatâs your Mini sale day offer!
Normally my packages start with 4 looks. On Mini sale days, I offer the option to purchase 1, 2 or 3 look packages. An offer clients canât resist.
Normally my packages do not include any retouches. Retouching is paid for ĂĄ la carte. Something I teach you to do so that you donât leave money on the table as a photographer. But for my Mini packages, retouching is included. An offer clients canât resist.
And finally, normally makeup is an additional charge paid directly to the makeup artist. For Mini sale days, I include the makeup artist and pay her myself. How can anyone resist?
My Mini sale days are limited to two to three times a year, taking place on one day only. So I can only photograph the number of slots available in a day.
And guess what? They sell out EVERY SINGLE TIME.
And I know, right about now, youâre probably wondering how I sell my Mini sessions. If youâve been reading my blogs, I bet you can guess which method I use.
Iâll give you a hint: Exclusivity.
So which method is it?
- Social media
- On my website
- Via my email list
- All of the above
If you don’t know how I sell my Mini sessions, DM me on Instagram, and ask me to explain!
Got ideas on what to offer and want to run it by me? DM what you normally offer and what your idea is! Iâm happy to help.đ
