headshot looks for actors [Headshots by Vanie]
Below is a list of some of the most popular looks requested by agents and managers.
To figure out your own looks and what wardrobe to bring for each look, follow these seven easy steps:
- Find the age group you fall into.
- Pick out the looks that resonate with you based both on your appearance and essence. Don’t overthink this one and go with your gut instinct. With 25+ years experience, the day of your shoot, I’ll help finalize which looks you’ll get the most mileage out of so don’t worry about having too many looks.
- Use the search bar on my blog page to search for the looks you wrote down and all the articles that feature that look will pop in! Note I said, the articles will pop in and not the looks themselves.
- Click on each article, scroll down and find the look labeled as the same one you searched for.
- Pin that look into a dedicated board in your Pinterest account. If you don’t know what a Pinterest board is, check out my Pinterest. Under “saved” you’ll see my boards.
- Repeat for each look and create a collection under each board so that you can reference those boards later when getting ready.
Oh and for a quick reference guide, you may also want to download my wardrobe guide.
With some planning and a little bit of homework, you can’t go wrong on headshot day!
